Can't Find A Job? Do This!

What is the one product in greatest demand today? Apart from the usual necessities like food, shelter, and clothing -- and the frills that folks are still habitually buying -- the greatest need is, for many people globally, a way to earn a living.

Everywhere you look, except in some occupations I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, there are fewer job openings for quality jobs and more competition for what positions there are.

In a global economy that is instantly connected at the speed of light by the Internet, there's usually someone with a good education in a poor country who is willing to work for less than you.

His or her cost of living is much lower, so he or she gets the job. You don't.

People are trudging back to school, thinking that if they buy more education they will be able to get a good job when the economy picks up again.

Without going into a long, complex explanation, let me assure you there is no good reason the economies of the U.S., the UK, and many other nations will return to the pre-crash state of euphoria induced by the Housing Bubble, or before that, the DotCom Bubble.

Add to that the fact that many of us Baby Boomers are getting older and we would really like to start taking life easier, but the stock and real estate crash cut our retirement savings tremendously.

Now, a lot of Boomers are reluctantly accepting the fact that they will have to "work until they die". That's sad.

I have some good news for those who are willing to consider it.

Aside from going back to growing our own food on little farms and suburban homesteads and living on meager Social Security checks (until they run out!), there is an answer that can employ all who are willing to consider it.

It is Network Marketing or MLM.

What does it require? Is it hard physical work?

MLM is simply a less-expensive way of marketing products. Instead of buying millions of dollars worth of advertising, manufacturers let their customers promote their products to their friends, family, and strangers -- and pay them commissions on how much product they sell every month.

The cool thing is that -- in a well-chosen MLM company -- these are products you would be buying every month anyway, except the quality is better and the cost may even be less!

Another great thing about this form of business ownership is that, in some of these companies using a Binary compensation plan, other people are doing much of your work for you. It is a team effort, where a lot of people do a big job and they all share in the profits!

Thanks to common tools like the telephone and the 'Net, no one has to go door-to-door to find their customers. Many people resist the idea of Network Marketing and bad-mouth it because someone they met once had difficulty making it work. Smart people can see that if some people are making it work, they can too.

Ironically, in a bad economy, network marketing always picks up new recruits who, by necessity, figure it out and make it work for them. It just takes stepping outside the box of conventional job-based thinking.

As a former Chamber of Commerce Executive and consultant working for the U.S. Economic Development Administration -- and as an entrepreneur who has built successful businesses of my own -- I can tell you there is no better business opportunity than network marketing for the average person who is willing to work.

MLM/Network Marketing offers anyone the leverage of owning a large business without the hassle of hiring and managing employees.

Where else can you buy a business franchise for under a thousand dollars that can pay you more than a million dollar McDonald's franchise, with none of the headaches?

MLM is such a ridiculously good opportunity, someone who is used to working a "job", even as a professional with a lot of skill and training, may have a hard time believing what a God-send this is.

Faith that your efforts will be repaid many times over, is probably the biggest requirement for success in MLM.

Look at it this way: When you choose an established company to represent, if you bring them customers they will gladly pay you -- over and over again.

You just need to find someone to teach you a workable system to find a lot of customers for the company you choose! Take a look at some of the Attraction Marketing courses posted to the right of this blog post if you need some ideas.
